Botify is a global enterprise software company that helps ambitious brands treat organic search as a high-impact performance marketing channel. By utilizing a proprietary unified data model and AI, our platform optimizes web and mobile sites to ensure they are indexed and ranked effectively by search engines. We are looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join our team in Paris and help us continue to innovate in the SEO space for our more than 500 global clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory complex analysis to identify new opportunities and evaluate strategies for solving difficult business problems.
- Lead research and development initiatives to create innovative machine learning and natural language processing solutions.
- Work in a cross-functional environment with other data scientists and engineers to prototype and deploy scalable solutions.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including customer support, bug triaging, and internal knowledge sharing through workshops and coaching.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in algorithm development and applying machine learning models to real-world business challenges.
- Strong expertise in statistics and machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python and experience working with SQL and relational data.
- Excellent communication skills with a pragmatic, iterative approach to problem-solving.
- Professional fluency in both English and French.

Our hiring process consists of a 30-minute technical screen, a one-hour product and machine learning interview, a one-hour coding and data manipulation session, and a final 30-minute interview with the hiring manager.
