About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for exploring and analyzing data across all areas of our business, including logistics, supply-chain operations, marketing, sales, and customer support. You will play a key part in shaping our future by turning data into actionable insights and innovative product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact business opportunities through data exploration, project bootstrapping, and the creation of model prototypes.
- Lead the hands-on development, deployment, and operation of machine learning models and pipelines at scale, handling both real-time and batch data.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to build next-generation features while mentoring engineers on best practices, coding standards, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of industry experience in roles such as data scientist, machine learning engineer, or technical lead.
- A proven track record of designing, prototyping, and launching data science products that solve real business challenges.
- Deep expertise in the machine learning lifecycle, including algorithms for anomaly detection, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, code reviews, and deployment.
- Fundamental knowledge of data engineering practices, such as building data pipelines and managing data storage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $271,000 USD. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer performance bonuses and equity compensation. Our benefits package includes:
