What you bring

We are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This senior-level role is based in the United States and operates in a hybrid work environment. You will be a key player in our data engineering efforts, utilizing Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS to scale our infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing robust data pipelines to ingest information from diverse sources like Salesforce, Stripe, and internal production systems.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to manage the full lifecycle of data for our products.
• Leading the migration and development of our data tooling as we transition between systems like Snowflake and Databricks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. You should have at least five years of professional experience in data engineering, with a deep understanding of data ingress and egress patterns. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS is essential for success in this role. We value candidates who have experience building DBT infrastructure and working with platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. Beyond technical skills, you should be a proactive problem solver who excels at translating business needs into scalable data solutions. Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively partner with various business units across the organization.
