What you bring

We are looking for a Senior-level Staff Data Engineer to join us on a Full Time basis. This role is Remote, though please note that periodic international travel within Latin America or to the United States will be required. You will be responsible for architecting and operationalizing the data systems that power our platform, with a focus on integrating AI and machine learning into our core workflows.

• Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms that support our analytics, machine learning products, and customer-facing APIs.
• Partner closely with our Data Science team to productionize models, including LLMs and VLMs, turning experimental intelligence into durable, reliable customer products.
• Establish and enforce high standards for data quality, observability, and pipeline architecture across our entire data ecosystem.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an AI-forward practitioner who possesses deep technical expertise and a pragmatic approach to leadership. You should have over eight years of experience in data or platform engineering within data-heavy environments like AdTech or SaaS. Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java is essential, alongside production-grade SQL skills. You must be highly experienced with modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery. Because we operate as a global team, strong written and spoken English is required. We value candidates who take full ownership of their outcomes and can communicate complex architectural tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
