What you bring

We are seeking a Staff Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis to help us build premium, blockchain-powered experiences. You will play a critical role in shaping our proprietary platforms while working from anywhere in a hybrid capacity. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

• Architecting and building core infrastructure software, including APIs, microservices, and database modeling, while optimizing for performance and throughput.
• Leading development initiatives that integrate backend services like decentralized databases, user authentication, eCommerce platforms, and customer insight systems.
• Collaborating closely with product managers and UX engineers to define and implement platform requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a founding engineer mentality. You should have at least seven years of professional engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. We require proficiency in building custom SaaS applications and cloud systems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. While we are language-agnostic, we prefer experience with Python, Node, Java, or Go. A strong understanding of modern deployment processes, including containers and Kubernetes, is essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about blockchain, crypto, and collectibles, and who can communicate effectively in English.

What we offer

The total compensation for this role ranges from 200,000 USD to 250,000 USD per year, including base salary and equity.
