Springboard is transforming professional education through immersive, online programs in fields like software engineering, data, and design. We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team of 250 and help us build the IT infrastructure that supports our mission of changing one million lives by 2030.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support for staff and contractors, including hardware, software, network, and A/V troubleshooting.
- Manage the lifecycle of company assets, from procurement and deployment to decommissioning.
- Configure and maintain core IT infrastructure, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian Jira, and MDM solutions for MacOS and Windows.
- Research and implement innovative, automated solutions while managing vendor relationships and cost analysis.
- Develop and maintain internal security policies, procedures, and comprehensive knowledge base documentation.
- Deploy productivity and security tools, such as Microsoft Office and anti-malware software.
Must-haves
- At least 4 years of experience as a systems administrator or network administrator in a tech or startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in systems architecture and the ability to manage core IT systems independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on complex troubleshooting.
- A customer-service mindset and the ability to create clear, step-by-step technical documentation.
- A high sense of urgency and the ability to work as an independent operator.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, including 2-4 days per month on-site at our San Francisco office.
- Fluency in English.

The annual salary range for this role is $134,000 - $151,000 USD.
