About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing comprehensive help desk support. You will lead complex troubleshooting efforts, evaluate new technology systems, and help build a robust IT ecosystem that supports our growing organization. Please note that this is a hybrid position, requiring you to be on-site at our San Francisco office 2 to 4 days per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide service-oriented support for all staff and contractors, including managing hardware, software, office networks, and audio-visual setups.
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of core IT infrastructure, including Google Workspace, Slack, MDM for MacOS and Windows, and Atlassian tools.
- Develop and maintain security and productivity policies while researching innovative, automated approaches to improve our internal workflows.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience as a systems administrator, network administrator, or in a similar role within a startup or technology environment.
- Proficient knowledge of systems architecture and the ability to independently manage core IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to create clear, step-by-step technical documentation.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to operate independently with a high sense of urgency.
Location
This role is based in the United States, with a hybrid requirement to work from our San Francisco office 2 to 4 days per month.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $134,000 to $151,000 USD, depending on your specific skills and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
