Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a hybrid role that requires you to be on-site at our San Francisco office between 2 and 4 days per month. As a senior member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our infrastructure and ensuring our staff has the tools they need to succeed.
Your impact
- Take ownership of our IT infrastructure by managing, configuring, and supporting core systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Jira, and MDM for MacOS and Windows.
- Provide high-level help desk support to our staff, including complex troubleshooting, A/V management, and desk setups to ensure a seamless work environment.
- Lead technology projects by evaluating new systems, conducting cost analyses, managing vendor relationships, and implementing automated solutions to improve our internal processes.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience as a systems or network administrator, ideally within a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- A deep understanding of systems architecture and the ability to independently manage IT ecosystems while partnering with other departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the technical documentation skills required to create clear, actionable workflows.
- Fluency in English and a proactive, independent approach to getting things done.
Perks and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $134,000 and $151,000 USD for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your growth and well-being:
