We are looking for a talented leader to help us continue this tradition of excellence.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Stress Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level leadership position where you will play a vital role in planning, directing, and managing our engineering objectives. You will provide technical guidance to your team and ensure that all our procedures meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What will you do?
- Direct a team of engineers to support the design, substantiation, and certification of aircraft parts and assemblies while ensuring all work aligns with our internal drawing standards.
- Coach, train, and mentor your team members to improve efficiency, develop new workflows, and foster professional growth through regular performance reviews and feedback.
- Partner with engineering leadership and HR to manage staffing plans, budgets, and recruitment efforts while ensuring all project milestones are met on time and within scope.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry. You must have a minimum of 5 years of technical management experience with a proven history of effective team building. Because we work on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations, you must qualify as a US Person. You should also demonstrate the following:
- Strong proficiency in project management, technical design software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and build consensus across departments.
- A deep understanding of engineering drawings, financial planning, and problem-solving within a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- A collaborative mindset that values teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to quality.
What's in it for you?
The expected salary range for this position is between $133,160.00 and $183,095.00 USD. Actual compensation is determined based on your unique experience, education, and location. Beyond the salary, you will enjoy a culture built for high achievers, including:
- Opportunities to take on significant, high-impact projects and stretch assignments.
- A transparent work environment with engaged leadership and open communication channels.
- The chance to make a visible, meaningful impact on the final custom aircraft interiors we deliver to our clients.
