What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for architecting complex systems and solving challenges in uncharted technical territory. This role is remote and open to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing new product features, such as custom query planners and distributed ingest pipelines.
• Ensuring a high-quality experience for our customers by diagnosing and resolving complex distributed system issues.
• Authoring robust unit and integration tests to maintain high standards and prevent production bugs.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience building scalable software products with a strong emphasis on backend development. You must be proficient in Python and comfortable working with highly concurrent systems, with some exposure to JavaScript for UI tasks. We look for candidates with a solid foundation in computer science, ideally supported by a relevant degree or equivalent practical knowledge. You should have a deep interest in analytics and experience with performance optimization. Beyond technical skills, we value self-motivated individuals who communicate clearly and thrive in a collaborative environment where taking initiative is encouraged.
