We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us build the future of software supply chain security.
Key outcomes
- Develop the Socket web application from end to end, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with our design team to create intuitive, elegant interfaces that simplify complex security data for our users.
- Architect and maintain robust APIs to aggregate data from various sources and manage third-party data transformations.
- Influence our product roadmap and sprint planning to ensure we remain agile and responsive to user feedback.
- Establish foundational engineering frameworks and design systems that will guide our scaling efforts.
- Actively participate in hiring, interviewing, and shaping the long-term culture and DNA of our growing team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and deploying production-grade web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience building and integrating APIs alongside relational databases such as Postgres.
- A history of working in early-stage, 0-to-1 environments where you have built foundational systems.
- An adaptable mindset that allows you to learn new technologies quickly rather than being tied to a specific tech stack.
- Professional fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience with GraphQL and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with building data pipelines or working with headless browsers.
