Sr Software Engineer, Platform at Invisible AI

Our team, led by experts with deep backgrounds in self-driving car technology, has developed a visual intelligence platform that uses AI-enabled cameras to analyze human body posture in real-time. What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform team. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of the team, you will play a vital role in enabling our software to run, deploy, and monitor across thousands of devices and independent deployments.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain internal tools that accelerate our development cycles, including CI/CD systems, secure debug environments, and device management platforms.
• Design and implement critical infrastructure, such as PKI microservices for certificate management and systems for handling distributed decryption keys.
• Build robust observability frameworks to monitor the health and status of our edge devices across distributed deployments.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have a strong sense of ownership and a deep curiosity for solving complex infrastructure problems. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• At least 5 years of experience managing and building infrastructure at scale, with a focus on edge computing.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Docker, Linux systems, and general scripting.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, alongside experience managing cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building and improving observability systems, particularly those utilizing Prometheus.
• A background in developing REST APIs, ideally using Flask.
• A commitment to high security standards and the ability to travel domestically and internationally about 10-20% of the time.

The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, depending on your individual qualifications and market factors.
