What you bring

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform team, you will play a vital role in building the infrastructure that allows our software to run, monitor, and deploy across thousands of edge devices. This full-time, remote position involves working closely with our engineering teams to streamline internal tools and improve our deployment systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and maintaining robust observability systems to track device health across distributed deployments.
• Developing secure microservices for certificate management and distributed decryption keys.
• Creating and improving internal tools like CI/CD pipelines and custom device management platforms to accelerate our development cycles.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership and a deep curiosity for solving infrastructure challenges. You should have at least five years of experience managing infrastructure at scale, particularly in edge environments. Proficiency in Python, Docker, Linux systems, and scripting is essential for this role. We also look for candidates who are comfortable with Terraform, Ansible, and cloud infrastructure management. Experience with Prometheus for observability and building REST APIs using Flask will be highly beneficial. Because we prioritize security above all else, you must be someone who refuses to compromise on safety standards. Please note that this role requires 10 to 20 percent domestic and international travel, and you must be fluent in English.
