The role
We are seeking a Senior React Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Canada. This is a senior-level position for someone who is ready to take ownership of complex frontend systems and help shape the future of our technical architecture.
Core responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, user-facing features using React.js while translating designs and wireframes into clean, efficient code.
- Define architecture standards and select the right technologies to ensure our web applications are both robust and scalable.
- Collaborate closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to identify needs, write technical specifications, and implement sophisticated software solutions.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of frontend development and a passion for system design. We value candidates who bring the following expertise:
- Proven experience in architecting comprehensive frontend systems with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Expertise in React.js and its core principles, including workflows like Redux.
- Proficiency with modern styling tools such as Tailwind CSS and build pipelines involving Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON web tokens.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and Next.js is considered a significant asset.
- A strong grasp of testing methodologies, including unit and functional testing.
Compensation and benefits
The base annual salary for this position in Canada ranges from $130,000 to $170,000. Beyond the base pay, we provide a comprehensive package designed to support your well-being and growth:
