At VGS, we serve as the global leader in payment tokenization, helping major banks, fintech innovators, and merchants secure their data through our universal token vault. We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to join our remote-first team and lead the delivery of complex technical programs that support our mission of simplifying payment orchestration and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the program charter, including the administration of Jira to ensure seamless planning, execution, and delivery across multiple technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define project roadmaps, gather requirements, and maintain alignment with our strategic business goals.
- Proactively manage risks by identifying potential roadblocks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and data-backed insights.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by collecting metrics, creating dashboards, and socializing actionable findings during operational reviews.
- Mentor cross-functional team members and foster an inclusive, high-performance environment.
Must-haves
- At least 10 years of experience in program management, specifically focused on delivering complex software development projects.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical foundation in cloud technologies and web applications.
- Proven expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management techniques such as resource allocation, risk analysis, and roadmap planning.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience configuring Jira to support complex program requirements.
- A track record of driving operational reviews through advanced metric collection, optimization, and dashboarding.
- Additional certifications in Project Management or Business Administration.
