The role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our product team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering group, you will take ownership of our technical architecture and help us maintain the high standards of our scalable web applications.

Core responsibilities

• Design and build highly responsive, scalable applications while adhering to industry best practices and optimized coding standards.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integrate our systems with AWS cloud platforms, and connect with various third-party services.
• Collaborate during product review meetings to offer technical insights, suggest improvements, and contribute to the overall development strategy.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Java development and a deep understanding of modern web technologies. We value developers who are proactive about security, performance, and usability. Your technical toolkit should include:

• Extensive experience with Java and building complex web applications.
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
