The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be a vital part of our security operations, specifically focusing on cloud security within Google Cloud Platform. You will work across various functions to proactively detect, prevent, and respond to threats, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient. This is a unique chance to shape our security posture while utilizing state of the art tools to protect both our employees and our customers.

A day in the life

• You will own the security strategy across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, taking initiatives from the initial design phase all the way through to execution.
• You will operationalize CNAPP tooling like Wiz to reduce noise, prioritize high-impact security issues, and ensure that remediation efforts are successful.
• You will embed security directly into our infrastructure by using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, making our controls consistent, scalable, and developer-friendly.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with deep expertise in cloud security and a drive to build secure, efficient systems. You have a solid grasp of cloud fundamentals, including IAM, networking, logging, and encryption. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment where you can mentor others and clearly communicate risk to cross-functional teams. Your background includes:

• Strong hands-on experience securing cloud environments in GCP or Azure.
• Proven ability to use SIEM tools like Google Chronicle for detection engineering and incident support.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python to reduce manual security tasks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and a deep understanding of data and endpoint security platforms like Okta.
• A forward-thinking approach to technology, including a practical understanding of how to use AI tools to accelerate security analysis while maintaining strong guardrails.
