At Yurts, we are dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence by building innovative enterprise solutions that leverage the power of LLMs and Generative AI. We are looking for a talented Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team and help us create intuitive, high-impact interfaces for our users.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and evolution of our front-end ecosystem.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to influence the direction of the wider team.
- Work alongside product and design partners to translate user needs into high-quality features.
- Take full ownership of your projects, from the initial design phase through to implementation and long-term maintenance.
- Focus on building extensible front-end applications that perform well across a variety of environments.
- Maintain production systems by troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure consistent reliability.
- Maintain a growth mindset by learning new technologies and languages as our product needs evolve.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, specifically with a history of shipping enterprise-grade products.
- Strong coding abilities with a focus on building solid, scalable system architectures.
- Experience working within agile, iterative development environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in modern front-end tools and frameworks, including Node, TypeScript, React, and Tailwind.
- Experience debugging and supporting production systems within distributed environments.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience working with AI or Generative AI technologies.
- Background in building real-time collaborative text editors.
- A history of meaningful contributions to open-source software projects.
Benefits
We offer a salary range of $155,000 to $185,000 USD for this full-time, on-site position based in the United States.
