Sr Director, Growth Marketing at Caribou

At Caribou we pair customers with community banks and credit unions through smart technology, and we are looking for a strategic leader to expand that impact even further.

What you bring

We need an experienced growth marketer who will own performance across paid search, direct mail, affiliate, SEO, email, and lifecycle channels while guiding a hybrid team of five to seven in-house marketers and agency partners. You will develop new acquisition plays, run disciplined tests, and turn consumer insights into campaigns that lift conversion from first click to funded loan. The role is offered on a full-time basis and can be performed from any state where we operate, with a preference for Chicago, Denver, or San Francisco; occasional in-person meetings at one of our offices are part of the hybrid model.

• Build and optimize multi-channel campaigns that hit ambitious customer-acquisition-cost targets.
• Launch and scale emerging channels while continuously refining creative and messaging through structured A/B testing.
• Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Partnerships to uncover fresh growth opportunities and keep us ahead of market shifts.

Requirements

The right candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, or a related field and brings at least ten years of hands-on performance-marketing experience, including five or more years leading teams-ideally inside a fintech or financial-services startup. You are fluent in every major acquisition channel, deeply versed in marketing-automation platforms, and skilled at segmentation, personalization, and attribution. Strong leadership, project-management discipline, and the ability to collaborate across functions round out the profile, along with full professional proficiency in English.

What we offer

Base compensation for this position ranges from $168,000 to $210,000, and you will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus and equity.
