About the role
As a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Petvisor, a Vetstoria company, you’ll be a key technical resource to work with our global team. In this role, you will primarily manage and monitor our multi-region cloud infrastructure. You will also participate in multiple stages of the software development/release lifecycle in planning, provisioning, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure for development, testing, and production use.
This role is hybrid, and you will be expected to come into the office once every two weeks. You must be willing to work during EU hours.

- Manage and monitor our cloud infrastructure across AWS and other cloud providers & services
- Release management, cross-team coordination, and ensuring on-time production deployments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for development, testing, and deployment activities
- Production application & infrastructure monitoring including logs, metrics, uptime, access, infrastructure changes, etc.
- Implement and manage access controls for all infrastructure resources within the R&D purview
- Manage compliance across the entire infrastructure in line with ISO 27001, GDPR, CPRA/CCPA, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with relevant teams to fix them
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering/networking fields
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Prior experience in managing cloud infrastructure and monitoring
- Prior experience in networking, containerization, infrastructure as code, and configuration management
- Expertise in working on Linux/Unix-based operating systems
- Excellent knowledge of Python and shell scripting languages (Bash/PowerShell)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Experience in Windows-based environments and technologies will be an added advantage (Windows Server, Active Directory)
- Experience in Azure or GCP will be an added advantage
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience primarily in an AWS environment as a DevOps engineer or in a similar capacity
