What you'll be doing

• You will manage, optimize, and support our SQL Server 2019+ environments hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery through robust design and testing.
• You will drive operational efficiency by automating manual tasks and developing reusable solutions using PowerShell, T-SQL, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• You will collaborate with our DevOps and engineering teams to integrate database deployments into CI/CD pipelines and promote modern, scalable database practices.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong engineering mindset and a passion for operational excellence. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server administration in enterprise production environments.
• Deep expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and designing high-availability solutions like Always On Availability Groups.
• Proven experience working with AWS infrastructure and a strong foundation in DevOps principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor team members while collaborating across global teams.
• Fluency in English.
