What is this role?

We are searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level position designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys the challenge of building scalable systems. You will play a vital role in analyzing our current processes to define new data structures that provide clear answers to complex business questions.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines that ingest and transform large volumes of both structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and maintain scalable storage solutions, including data lakes and warehouses, while ensuring data integrity through rigorous profiling and cleansing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data processing workflows and implement schemas that ensure accuracy and reliability across the enterprise.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for solving data challenges. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Over 10 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years dedicated to Python programming.
• Extensive expertise in SQL and database management, specifically with PostgreSQL, database design, and schema development.
• A deep understanding of OLTP and OLAP systems, as well as star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience driving architectural vision and working with ETL processes.
• Strong communication skills in English and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
