About the Role
We are seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Lead to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a senior-level position where you will take charge of our cybersecurity initiatives to protect our data and IT infrastructure from threats. You will act as a strategic leader, guiding our security team and collaborating across departments to maintain a resilient and secure environment for our global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy while providing mentorship and leadership to the security team.
- Manage organizational risk by conducting regular assessments, audits, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the development and enforcement of security policies, incident response plans, and access management protocols to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A mandatory CISSP certification, with additional certifications like CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ considered a strong advantage.
- At least 8 to 10 years of professional experience in the cybersecurity sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in Risk Management, Policy Development, and Strategic Planning.
- Proficiency with essential security technologies, including SIEM solutions, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing teams, vendor relationships, and complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical security status reports to executive management.
Location
This position is based in the Philippines and requires an on-site work arrangement.
