What you bring

As a Senior SQL Database Developer II, you will play a vital role in our Information Technology department. This full-time position is based in the United States and operates on a hybrid schedule. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our database systems, from initial design to ongoing maintenance and performance tuning. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing enhancements for our SQL-based relational databases to support custom web applications.
• Administering database security, backup, and recovery processes while optimizing performance through advanced indexing and stored procedure development.
• Collaborating closely with our web development team to integrate data layers and troubleshoot complex issues to meet our business objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a four-year degree in a technical field and at least seven years of professional experience in SQL database development. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in SQL Server 2017 and above, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS. You should have at least five years of experience working in object-oriented environments using C# and Visual Studio, along with proficiency in version control tools like Azure DevOps or Git. Beyond your technical hard skills, you must be a proactive problem solver who communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Having a professional, flexible mindset and the ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines is essential for our fast-paced operations.
