We are looking for a Spread Operations Program Lead to join our team on a contract basis. At Instacart, we are transforming the grocery industry by making food accessible to everyone and providing flexible earning opportunities for our community of personal shoppers. We view grocery delivery as a complex, vital service, and we are searching for a motivated professional to help us maintain the stability and efficiency of our platform.

Responsibilities

Lead critical projects and work streams with high precision, proactively identifying solutions to unexpected challenges as they arise.
Manage granular reporting on performance and quality assurance to identify and execute meaningful areas for improvement.
Analyze complex data and operational trends to minimize fraud, optimize internal processes, and ensure long-term compliance across our shopper and catalog quality programs.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Four to six years of relevant professional experience with a proven track record of using data to drive business impact.
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with a strong preference for candidates who possess SQL skills.
Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
A high degree of accountability and the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
The flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including the willingness to work weekends, evenings, or holidays when necessary.
