Specialist Sales Engineer - EUC at vmware

We are looking for a Senior Specialist Sales Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a subject matter expert in desktop virtualization and mobility, you will play a vital role in driving the adoption of our infrastructure solutions across large-scale enterprise accounts. You will act as a high-impact technical leader, guiding our customers through their digital transformation journeys while working closely with our channel partners to ensure their success. Your expertise will not only help close business, but will also directly influence the future of our product roadmap.

What you'll be doing

• You will partner with our core sales teams to pursue End User Computing opportunities by providing deep technical and business support.
• You will engage directly with senior decision makers, such as CTOs and VPs of IT, to build lasting relationships and evangelize the value of our modern, cloud-mobile architectures.
• You will lead the end-to-end pre-sales process, which includes conducting technical workshops, managing proof-of-concept engagements, and creating custom solution designs that address specific customer objectives.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in Technology, Virtualization, and Mobility. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following:

• Extensive experience in a Pre-Sales capacity, with a proven ability to lead Solution Design and deliver compelling Technical Presentations.
• A senior-level perspective that commands respect from enterprise clients and allows you to provide guidance on long-term architectural strategy.
• Fluency in English, enabling you to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
• The ability to act as a mentor within our engineering organization, sharing your domain expertise through training and knowledge transfer.
