We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to join our Administration and Finance Department and help our leadership teams innovate while safeguarding the information that powers our advocacy.
About the Role
We are seeking a Special Assistant to support our Chief Information Officer (CIO) and our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This is a full-time, senior-level position based in New York, NY. It is a hybrid role that requires you to be in the office two days per week or eight days per month. In this capacity, you will serve as a vital partner to our leadership, managing complex logistics and acting as a primary liaison to help advance our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sophisticated calendars and task tracking, prioritizing inquiries and resolving conflicts to ensure the CIO and CISO can focus on high-impact initiatives.
- Coordinate comprehensive logistics for departmental and organization-wide meetings, which includes drafting agendas, preparing presentation materials, and recording minutes.
- Act as a gatekeeper for internal and external communications, exercising independent judgment to screen requests and visitors while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Significant experience providing executive-level support, particularly to C-suite leadership or board members.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional presentations.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to maintain discretion when handling sensitive information.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location
This position is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement.
