The opportunity

We are searching for a detail-oriented Spec Technologist to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be the bridge between our clients and their customers, ensuring that all product specifications and artwork meet the rigorous legal and retailer standards required in the United Kingdom. You will work remotely, bringing your technical expertise to our collaborative environment where we value clarity, integrity, and a positive approach to problem-solving.

A day in the life

• You will conduct thorough reviews of product specifications, pack copy, and artwork to ensure total compliance with legal requirements.
• You will perform detailed formulation reviews and manage necessary regulatory adaptations for our clients.
• You will communicate complex technical decisions to our partners, using your deep knowledge of industry codes of practice and policies to provide clear guidance.

Who you are

You are a mid-level professional who thrives on precision and possesses a strong technical background. You have at least three years of experience in a technical or related field, and you are comfortable navigating specification and artwork systems. You communicate with confidence in English, both in writing and during discussions, and you have a knack for simplifying complex information. Most importantly, you are a welcoming and positive team player who acts with integrity and is always open to new ideas.
