What you bring

We are seeking a Junior Sourcing Assistant to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills in international supply chain management and project coordination. You will play a vital role in diversifying our global supply base and ensuring our production remains efficient and reliable.

• Identify and vet new suppliers, focusing on regions outside of China to strengthen our supply chain resilience.
• Manage the end-to-end process of obtaining, testing, and approving product samples in collaboration with our engineering department.
• Lead negotiations regarding costs, capacity, and quality standards while maintaining detailed project documentation and status reports.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in business or supply chain management. We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-departmental environment. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to manage data and presentations effectively. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and you should be prepared for the possibility of global travel.
