Are you ready to join a global leader in managed supplier quality services? For nearly three decades, SQA Services has supported manufacturers across every industry by providing expert audits, inspections, and engineering solutions. With a presence in over 90 countries, we pride ourselves on deploying local quality assurance professionals who represent our clients with speed and precision. We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and make a real impact.
What you bring
As a Senior Source Inspector working on a part-time basis, you will be a vital member of our global inspection team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of components and assemblies for a major aerospace client by visiting supplier sites throughout the United States. Your role will involve rigorous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of production. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of critical features and external services such as nickel plating.
- Verifying that all inspection equipment and methodologies are capable of detecting defects and align with drawing intent.
- Compiling final inspection packages and validating that hardware is clean and free of foreign object debris.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in manufacturing and technology. We require at least three years of experience in inspecting electronic components, along with a deep understanding of electronic assembly processes. You must be comfortable interpreting complex technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and work instructions. While familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is preferred, we are happy to provide training for the right candidate. Because this position involves access to ITAR-controlled technical data, you must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident to qualify. We value professionals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
What we offer
We believe in preparing our team members for success. Before your first deployment, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that includes remote classroom sessions, Gage R&R testing, and several shadow inspections with experienced team members. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside a global leader in the aerospace sector, gaining valuable experience in a high-stakes manufacturing environment.
How to Apply
If you are an experienced quality professional looking to contribute to a world-class team, we encourage you to reach out. Please submit your application to be considered for this opportunity. We look forward to reviewing your qualifications and potentially welcoming you to the SQA Services team.
