Role at a glance
We are seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in our Pasig City office in the Philippines. You will be working in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with our engineering teams in the United States and Korea to ensure our robots continue to perform at their best.
Your impact
- Act as the primary point of contact for our 150+ robot fleet, triaging and resolving issues in real time to keep our service uptime high.
- Configure and deploy robots to new customer sites, which includes setting up integrations with building systems like doors and elevators.
- Improve our fleet performance by developing new features and fixing software bugs as the need arises.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a problem solver who is comfortable working with both hardware and software. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven software engineering experience, whether through full-time work, internships, or academic projects.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ within a Linux environment.
- Strong command-line and system administration skills on Linux platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A genuine curiosity and excitement to learn about a wide range of technologies, from our robotic hardware to our web infrastructure.
Bonus points if you have experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS), network configuration, or robotics hardware and sensors.
