At Vanta, we are on a mission to secure the internet by helping companies build, maintain, and prove their security posture through our leading Trust Management Platform. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our hybrid team in Australia, where you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and our customers' security goals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for our prospects and customers throughout their journey.
- Master our product features, integrations, and the broader competitive landscape to provide expert guidance.
- Gather and relay critical product feedback from the field to our internal teams to help shape our roadmap.
- Guide customers through their trial experiences and ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Create high-quality technical documentation, product examples, and resources to support customer success.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new programs that improve our sales and onboarding processes.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer.
- Proven background in the B2B SaaS industry.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, as well as familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced, evolving environment of a startup.
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to persuade and listen to customer needs.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations.
