Our team is growing, and we are looking for passionate people who want to solve complex problems in the healthcare space.
The role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will play a vital part in our mission by managing the technical integration of our products into hospital systems, ensuring that our technology works seamlessly for our clients.
Core responsibilities
- Take the lead on integrating SmarterDx solutions for our clients, which includes mapping out their specific billing and EMR workflows, troubleshooting technical hurdles, and creating repeatable playbooks for future deployments.
- Partner closely with our internal Engineering, Data Science, and Implementation teams to provide technical guidance and ensure our solutions are configured correctly for each unique hospital environment.
- Continuously refine our integration strategies by analyzing client feedback and staying current with evolving healthcare technology trends.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in both the operational and technical sides of healthcare IT. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working in hospital revenue cycle management and as an EMR analyst.
- Deep familiarity with hospital revenue cycle workflows and hands-on experience configuring major EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to own technical features from the initial concept through to final delivery.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to bridge the gap between technical requirements and client needs.
- Bonus points if you hold an Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing or have a background in healthcare consulting.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $220,000 USD, along with equity in the company. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- A 401k retirement plan.
- A remote-first work environment.
- Access to a One Medical membership.
- Parental leave and a collaborative culture with minimal bureaucracy.
