Role
We are seeking a Solutions Engineer with in-depth knowledge and expertise in revenue cycle management. In this role, you will be critical in successfully integrating SmarterDx into hospital IT systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and help guide the implementation process from start to finish, ensuring that our solutions are effectively integrated and meet client requirements. This position requires exceptional problem-solving, project management, leadership, and communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of EHR systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the chart hold integration of SmarterDx solutions for clients
- Directly communicate with clients to understand their EMR, coding, and billing systems
- Identify how to integrate our solution, troubleshoot any issues
- Develop repeatable strategies and playbooks
- Write clear guides on integration methods and best practices
- Work closely with our Implementation, Engineering, and Data Science teams to apply integration solutions
- Offer technical help and advice during the integration process
- Educate both our team and clients
- Improve integration methods by considering client feedback and new technology trends
Your Qualities
- 2+ years experience in both hospital revenue cycle management (operational) and EMR analyst (technical) roles, or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of hospital revenue cycle workflow
- In-depth knowledge of one or more EHR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech), including hands-on experience configuring and supporting a major EMR
- Ownership mindset: Ability to build and own features from start to finish
- Strong problem-solving skills: You can creatively to identify solutions to problems
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Epic certification: Resolute Hospital Billing Claims & Electronic Remittance Administration
- A background in healthcare consulting, and/or experience deploying software in a healthcare context
Compensation
- $160K to $220K base salary + equity
