Role at a glance
We are looking for a Junior Solutions Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in our Pasig City office in the Philippines. You will be instrumental in maintaining our fleet of over 150 robots, working in close collaboration with our engineering teams in the United States and Korea.
Your impact
- Act as the primary point of contact for triaging and resolving technical issues to ensure our robot fleet maintains high service uptime.
- Manage the remote configuration and deployment of robots for new customer sites, including setting up integrations with elevators, doors, and alarm systems.
- Collaborate with our broader engineering team to develop new features and address software bugs, directly contributing to the evolution of our robotics platform.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver who is comfortable working across both software and hardware domains. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A BS degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software engineering, whether through full-time work, internships, or significant academic projects.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ within a Linux environment.
- Strong command-line and system administration skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn about our full technology stack, from robotics hardware to web infrastructure.
Bonus points if you have experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS), network configuration, or working directly with robotics sensors.
