We are seeking a senior Solutions Architect to guide a major Microsoft Azure cloud transformation for enterprise applications in The Woodlands, TX. This 9–12 month on-site engagement focuses on shaping the technical direction as legacy systems move to Azure, ensuring secure, scalable designs that align with long-term business goals.

Responsibilities

Deliver architectural blueprints and design software solutions that support the organization’s long-term strategy, including proof-of-concept implementations when needed.
Define and maintain the overall enterprise software architecture, ensuring consistent design standards and interfaces across multiple products and teams.
Drive the cloud transformation initiative through the full project lifecycle, translating business requirements into secure, cloud-native architectures on Azure.

Must-haves

Proven experience leading cloud transformation projects using Microsoft Azure as the target environment.
10 or more years of enterprise-level development and architecture experience across diverse technical stacks and multiple programming languages.
Hands-on experience architecting and implementing secure mobile solutions that address both client-side and server-side components.
Practical knowledge of designing or migrating to public or private cloud solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
Proficiency with several programming languages, including Java, PHP, .NET, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of object-oriented and modern software design principles.
Experience working with integrated development environments such as NetBeans, Eclipse, or JetBrains tools.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with content management systems such as Drupal or Joomla.
