Our flagship platform, InPlanning, supports over 200 organizations by streamlining complex tasks like shift scheduling, absence tracking, and night duty management. As we expand our footprint across the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, we are looking for a problem-solving Solution Engineer to join our Technical Consultancy team in a full-time, hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom technical solutions, such as complex labor agreement calculations, bespoke dashboards, and system integrations, to meet specific client needs.
• Engage in hands-on coding to resolve bugs and deploy new features within our platform.
• Continuously develop your technical expertise by mastering our InPlanning features and evolving as an engineer while working directly on client projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience with an object-oriented programming language, with a strong preference for Java.
• Technical proficiency in our core stack, which includes SQL, Bash, Git, and JavaScript. Experience with Jmix, SQLMesh, or RabbitMQ is considered a significant advantage.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required. Proficiency in German is highly valued.
• A strong affinity for the human resources sector, particularly regarding workforce management, personnel planning, or payroll processing.
• The ability to thrive in a scale-up environment where you can analyze complex scenarios, experiment with solutions, and translate them into functional code.
