The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Solutions Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will act as the technical bridge between our product and our e-commerce merchants. You will not just be writing code, but also shaping the way our customers use our platform to achieve their strategic goals. By working closely with our sales and success teams, you will help scope, design, and deliver custom technical solutions that push the boundaries of what our software can do. This is a high-impact position where your expertise in our tech stack and your ability to manage projects will directly influence the experience of the world’s biggest e-commerce brands.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with our sales and expansion teams to provide deep technical expertise during the pre-sale process, helping prospects understand how our APIs, data, and security features can solve their unique business challenges.
• You will serve as a technical subject matter expert for our success team, designing custom functionality, managing data migrations, and developing solutions for our enterprise-level accounts.
• You will partner with our product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into actionable insights, testing new API releases and building custom integrations that help our merchants scale.

Who you are

You are a seasoned developer with at least 3 years of professional experience and a passion for the e-commerce ecosystem. You are comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the globe, and you possess the creative mindset needed to turn complex requirements into elegant code.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with our core tech stack, including TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Node, React, Angular, and AWS.
• A strong working knowledge of the Shopify environment, specifically regarding Shopify Liquid and the Shopify API.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently to deliver projects within a set timeline.
• Fluency in English to effectively collaborate with our international team and customer base.
