About the Role
We are looking for a Software Security Engineer Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role is part of our Donjon team, which is responsible for the security of all products developed at Ledger. You will focus on testing and securing our Ledger Vault solution for financial institutions as well as our B2C application, Ledger Live. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our industry-leading security standards while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement tools and exploits for our product line while providing effective fixes for identified vulnerabilities.
- Conduct thorough security reviews for new features and products before they reach our users.
- Advocate for secure coding practices by collaborating directly with our engineering teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for cybersecurity. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Current pursuit of a bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in C, along with experience in either Rust or Python.
- Practical knowledge of reverse engineering, binary analysis, and modern exploitation techniques.
- Familiarity with static analysis tools and the ability to document security standards and guidelines.
- A strong command of the English language.
Location
This position is available in our offices located in France, Singapore, and Switzerland.
