We are looking for a skilled Senior Software QA Engineer to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term position. Working remotely from Türkiye, you will play a vital role in our fintech projects by ensuring our mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. What you'll be doing
- You will design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases specifically tailored for our financial mobile applications.
- You will perform a mix of manual and automated testing to ensure the stability and functionality of our software across various mobile environments.
- You will work within an Agile Scrum framework, collaborating closely with product managers and developers to track defects in Jira and ensure high-quality releases.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in quality assurance and a deep understanding of mobile ecosystems. We expect you to bring the following qualifications to our team:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software QA with a specific focus on mobile applications.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and a solid understanding of mobile platforms, including iOS and Android device fragmentation.
- Strong technical knowledge of API documentation, the communication between frontend and backend systems, and basic debugging techniques for analyzing crash logs.
- Familiarity with Java or other object-oriented languages and a clear understanding of Agile development processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bonus points if you have experience with financial or banking applications, hold an ISTQB certification, or have worked with performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
