Software Process Engineer at Workila

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Software Process Engineer to join our team in the United States. What you'll be doing

• You will collaborate with management to formalize our existing development processes while coordinating with the broader Harris organization to ensure alignment.
• You will design and implement continuous integration systems and build architectures, including the setup of storage, databases, networks, and VMware environments for our software teams.
• You will identify opportunities to improve productivity by researching and customizing automation tools, tracking project metrics, and managing policies that govern our development practices.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to high-quality engineering standards. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with development tools in both Unix and Windows environments.
• Proven ability to develop PERL scripts and a solid foundation in hardware and software development.
• Strong experience with process scripting.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Git, Gitlab, TeamForge, Accurev, or CHEF is considered a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English.
