What is this role?
We are looking for a motivated Software Intern to join our team on an on-site basis in Egypt. This position is perfect for a student who is eager to gain hands-on experience and grow their technical skills within a fast-paced, professional environment. You will work directly with our developers to contribute to meaningful projects and learn how we build our software solutions.
What will you do?
- Help us roll out our new Next.js implementation by collaborating with our developers and adhering to our coding standards.
- Design, build, and test various software components while researching innovative ways to improve our platform features.
- Execute proof-of-concept projects, including setting up payment gateway integrations with Node.js and connecting to credit scoring services using Go or Node.js.
What makes you a great fit?
You are currently working toward a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. We value candidates who have a solid foundation in web development and a passion for learning new technologies. To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualities:
- A strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience or familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- A basic understanding of Node.js and server-side development.
- Exposure to Next.js or Go is considered a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English to ensure smooth collaboration with our team.
