We are looking for a talented Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our remote-first team and help us advance our mission of improving healthcare access and outcomes through technology.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions while leading feature development from initial concept through to deployment.
• Ensure the reliability and quality of our platform by managing deployment pipelines, performing rigorous testing, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers to identify process improvements and deliver impactful features for our customers.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with a strong background in software development who is passionate about building mission-driven technology. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment and possess the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of recent experience shipping Rails applications in production environments.
• Hands-on expertise with our core tech stack, including React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Capybara.
• A deep understanding of object-oriented design, modularization of monolithic applications, and best practices such as Domain Driven Design.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with a track record of leading through influence rather than authority.
• A bias toward execution and a commitment to our core values of Respect, Reliability, and Resilience.
• Fluency in English.

What you'll get

We offer a competitive total rewards package, with a base salary range of $130,000 to $190,000 per year depending on your level and experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive an annual company performance bonus and equity compensation.
