What is this role?
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Platform Engineering organization on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership position for an experienced professional who will help guide the continued development of our core services. You will be responsible for setting team strategy, ensuring we meet our engineering goals, and fostering an environment where our engineers can do their best work.
What will you do?
- Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on infrastructure, CI/CD, security, compute, storage, data pipelines, and developer experience.
- Define and execute technical roadmaps for our DevOps, Data Engineering, and Security initiatives while collaborating with product teams to hit key milestones.
- Drive the adoption of best practices across the organization and oversee the design and maintenance of our scalable, secure infrastructure.
What makes you a great fit?
You are an experienced leader with at least 3 years of management experience in high-growth environments, specifically within platform or infrastructure teams. You have a track record of building reliable services and are comfortable working with the following technologies and tools:
- Infrastructure & Cloud: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Data & Backend: Postgres and Kafka.
- Project Management: Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
Beyond your technical background, you are an empathetic communicator who thrives on mentoring others and helping your team members grow their careers. You are a process-driven thinker who knows how to use data to improve system reliability and team efficiency. Please note that we require all candidates to be legally authorized to work in their location without sponsorship, and we are currently unable to support remote employees residing in California or New York.
What's in it for you?
Joining our team means being part of a high-growth, mission-driven organization that values your professional development. We offer the following benefit:
- Remote work flexibility.
