Software Engineering Manager at Revinate

The role

We are hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead our application development team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This senior-level position oversees the services and products that power core offerings, including our AI chatbot, survey tools, and the forthcoming customer data platform. You will guide a team responsible for building highly scalable, resilient services while continuing to contribute technically to our web applications.

Core responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering leadership by guiding architecture decisions, addressing production issues, and minimizing outages across distributed systems.
• Coach and mentor engineers, helping them strengthen their technical skills and advance their careers through structured feedback and growth opportunities.
• Drive the creation of new features and the enhancement of existing ones, contributing code at every layer of our web applications while championing clean code and engineering best practices.

Skills and experience

• Two or more years leading an engineering team and seven or more years building distributed, highly available web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong command of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET, along with a solid grasp of event-driven and queue-based architectures that support large-scale web technologies.
• Fluency in English and the ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment within the United States.
