The role

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position designed for a strategic thinker who is ready to guide our technical direction. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality software while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across our engineering organization.

Core responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: You will mentor and guide a team of engineers, including both onsite and offshore members, while overseeing technical analysis, design, and the implementation of best practices.
• Project Management: You will take ownership of the software development lifecycle by managing timelines, resources, and project dependencies to ensure we deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Coaching and Collaboration: You will work closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to align our technical output with business goals, all while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in full stack development and a proven ability to lead technical teams. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a formal leadership role.
• Technical proficiency in React, Go, and Python.
• Extensive experience engineering globally distributed systems within Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of API development, Service Oriented Architecture, and Data Management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse, distributed teams.
