Software Engineering Intern at Blueground

What is this role?

We are excited to open applications for our 7th Software Engineering Internship cycle. This is an on-site, six-month program based in Greece, designed specifically for students or recent graduates who are eager to launch their careers. You will be joining a fast-paced environment where you will receive intensive training, tackle a collaborative challenge project, and eventually contribute to our Partner Network, which connects property management companies with our internal systems.

What will you do?

• Participate in a comprehensive training program featuring workshops, presentations, and guided study sessions to master modern development tools.
• Collaborate with fellow interns to build a greenfield project from the ground up, covering the full lifecycle from system design to testing.
• Integrate with our core engineering team to work on our most ambitious project, the Partner Network, using industry-standard practices and a modern tech stack.

What makes you a great fit?

We are looking for students or graduates with a degree in Computer Science or a related field who possess a strong foundation in core engineering principles. You should be comfortable working in MacOS or Linux environments and have hands-on experience with dynamic programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Ruby. We value candidates who have a track record of building things, whether through academic projects, open-source contributions, or professional experience. Proficiency in English is required, and we are looking for individuals who demonstrate self-discipline and a genuine passion for software engineering.
