We are looking for a dedicated Software Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to our core product.
Key outcomes
- Collaborate directly with our Director of Engineering on high-impact projects.
- Participate in our current initiative to modernize our front-end architecture to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Engage with design and back-end teams to implement new features and influence technical decision-making.
- Gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the development of a product that helps engineering teams worldwide.
Requirements
We are seeking a student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university. Because this role is supported by specific government programs, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
While we value your ability to learn over your current expertise, familiarity with the following technologies is beneficial:
- Ruby on Rails for back-end development.
- Vue.js for front-end interface construction.
- MySQL and Redis for database and caching needs.
- GraphQL for API communication.
- AWS and GCP for cloud infrastructure.
- Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Elasticsearch for data indexing.
- Git for version control.
