We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Analyst to join our team and help us deliver immersive worlds to our global community.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems capable of supporting multiplayer games with hundreds of thousands of concurrent users.
- Collaborate with game development teams to enable new features while ensuring high levels of scalability and reliability.
- Build internal tools that allow various business units to effectively manage and operate our games.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and architectural design to implementation, testing, and infrastructure configuration.
- Engage in daily stand-ups, weekly syncs, and technical discussions with both client and backend teams to resolve bugs and drive continuous improvement.
Must-haves
- Strong proficiency in Object Oriented Programming, Functional Programming, and Asynchronous Programming.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, microservices communication, and the AMQP protocol.
- Solid background in data modeling, analysis, and working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Proven ability to implement automated and unit testing.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
- Experience in requirement gathering and technical analysis.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of Kotlin or other JVM-based languages.
- Familiarity with game development in Unity.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Understanding of RPC and system release processes.
