Seso is on a mission to modernize the agricultural back-office by providing a comprehensive HR platform that automates H-2A visa processing, payroll, and recruitment for farmers. Having raised over $60 million from top-tier investors like Index and Founders Fund, we are recognized as a leader in American dynamism and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team as we scale our services for hundreds of thousands of workers.

Responsibilities

Lead full-stack greenfield projects to expand our payroll, tax, and remittance offerings.
Design and maintain secure, scalable system architectures to support our growing user base.
Build and optimize event-driven backend infrastructure to ensure lightning-fast feature delivery.
Develop and integrate complex messaging features, including WhatsApp and push notifications, to improve workforce communication.
Integrate industry-leading third-party APIs such as DocuSign and Twilio into our platform.
Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, iterative releases, and the use of feature flags.

Must-haves

At least 4 years of professional experience, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
Expertise in TypeScript or typed JavaScript.
Strong proficiency with modern client-side frameworks like React or Vue.
Extensive experience building and testing RESTful or RPC APIs using Node.js.
A solid background in testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
Proven ability to manage CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $180,000, which is determined based on your specific skills, experience, and location.
