While many lenders still rely on unstable software from twenty years ago, we provide a modern, reliable platform that has already powered over 50 billion dollars in new home loans. Since our inception in early 2021, our remote team of 15 has secured 9 million dollars in funding and established a clear path toward becoming cash-flow positive in 2024. Key outcomes

• Architect, build, and deploy the next version of our no-code platform to help customers digitize their operational workflows.
• Integrate third-party lending service APIs to automate underwriting, document generation, and fraud prevention.
• Design and scale our job processing infrastructure on AWS to ensure our backend remains highly observable and reliable.
• Ship code to production immediately upon joining and take ownership of mission-critical projects within your first month.
• Contribute to our high-velocity engineering culture by maintaining our robust testing utilities and automated deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software engineering, specifically with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in our core stack, including React, Node, Express, GraphQL, and Apollo.
• Hands-on experience managing relational databases with Postgres.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Experience working within Docker-based environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• An ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative team environment.

Preferred qualifications

• A strong product-oriented mindset with an interest in contributing to feature design and strategy.
• Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems and managing complex relational database schemas.
• A focus on security, particularly when handling sensitive personal data.
• An interest in mentoring junior team members and sharing technical knowledge.
• An SRE-oriented approach to building reliable, low-toil infrastructure.
• Experience developing clean, maintainable architecture patterns for large enterprise customers.
